Scott Fitzgerald gets a hug from Lindsay Dracass at the VIP session before Eurostarz in Concert 2018 - as I'm still hoping to get a couple of tracks from her to go with her interview, I brought Scott's chat forward a week to show 6 of "Let Me Be The One". My interview with him is obviously the main part of the show and his memories of Eurovision 1988 plus other aspects of his career was a fascinating listen for me and hopefully for you too!
The other major part of this week's show is about Israel and where we are as far as knowing when and where the 2019 Contest will be hosted. To be honest with you all, last Friday's false alarm by Israeli media that led everyone to believe that Tel Aviv and w/c 20th May 2019 was going to be it did influence what was played in the second half of the show - I stuck with it in the hope that it would be confirmed in time for this week's episode but I suspect that we'll now know by show 7. Hopefully it still all makes sense:

Okay, so having "Monsters" in there was a bit tenuous being linked to Scott via his son Ki but it was a great way to start the show! It was also perfect for my purposes that Igit provided us all with a NF song with Jerusalem in the title and we already had Nadav offering to show us around Tel Aviv, so that was perfect for my section on where we are with Israel hosting at the moment. It even gave me the opportunity to prove that I was live! I will definitely be playing my last interview from Eurostarz, a really fun and at the same time poignant chat with this lady:
Fingers crossed that Lindsay Dracass can provide me with those two songs to play - if she can, it will make my day and sound amazing! As for the rest of the show, I am going to make the effort to finish off that list of nations who have been to Eurovision before but will not be there in 2019. I've played a track from Andorra and Slovakia - hopefully I'll finish off the others...
