[LMBTO] "Let Me Be The One" Show 14 - Eurovision Fireworks...

My radio show moves onto episode FOURTEEN and "Let Me Be The One" hoovers up anything new that has been going on in Eurovision up to the weekend, plus we have a thread within the show that relates to something celebrated in the UK at this time of year, where an act of terrorism was thwarted 413 years ago and the nation now uses it as an excuse to light big bonfires and shoot off fireworks...


Now Mikolas Josef is part of the 'news' bit or at least Czechia is, as far as not changing what worked for them last year as far as their NF is concerned - that was him at the London Eurovision Party 2018.  As for the fireworks bit, I did promise you all that entries to do with fire would be included, in particular the one sung by this lady:

Dami Im starts off the show as far as Eurovision Down Under and in Asia is concerned, whereas Daniel begins our bonfire night celebrations.  Listen to the show, it'll all make perfect sense:



Enjoy that?  There were actually fewer Eurovision tracks that related to fires and fireworks than there were for Halloween - I only had a few spare this week, maybe they will get used next year!  As for next week, show FIFTEEN will be just after Remembrance Day in the UK and the Commonwealth, where traditionally those killed in military action are commemorated - I will flag up some Eurovision entries that relate to that in different ways.
There has been some other news over the past day or so as far as Tel Aviv is concerned so I will play more tracks linked to that too.  I keep saying that somebody is bound to reveal their artist soon - if that happens, there will be a huge picture of them emblazoned on here in a week's time...
