You'd never believe that this lady sung at Eurovision nine years ago as an 18 year old and came back to Melodifestivalen with a song that charmed the Eurofandom this year, prompting OGAE UK to make her 'their' artist at the London Eurovision Party this year - of course it is...

Anna Bergendahl!

I have to say that I really enjoyed my time with Anna and I think that she appreciated my attempts to get some background on her - have a listen, especially if you are part of the Irish delegation:

Yes, Anna has an Irish grandmother (and that is on Wiki, that's a freebie) so my comment about "Does Ireland not realise this?" was a valid question for anyone watching!  Anna has so much experience and songwriting talent that surely she should be a shoe-in.  I was also very honest when answering HER question - I still don't know why she didn't make the Final in 2010 and I hope that the love and admiration that us fans have provided for her this season in Sweden and here in London will help her confidence with her musical comeback.  "Ashes To Ashes" went down a storm later that day:
I hope that MF 2019 has given Anna a huge boost as far as her music is concerned and I for one will be looking out for that new album whenever it appears.  She had a nine year gap between MFs - the next lady I interviewed had tried several times to win her nation's NF and eventually made it this year, providing incredible vocals that were heard several times across other artist's interviews!  That singer's name?

Jonida Maliqi!
