[LMBTO] Me & Eye Cue at the London Eurovision Party press event...

The view from the balcony at the Café de Paris is a great one, isn't it?  I didn't get a picture of myself with these guys at the press event because...well...I got loads with them at Eurofest last month and I knew that I would be getting some decent pictures of them playing at the venue.  Yet another repeat interview with new questions for them - one of the evening's special guests...
Eye Cue!

Bojan and Marija had hoped to have been at last year's Party but due to administration issues could not attend - that might have been a blessing in disguise as they told me that they felt very relaxed this year, listen to find out why...

First off, I am pleased that I managed to pronounce Bojan's name correctly this time!  I was also pleased to hear more about the OGAE Australia challenge they were running so that a fan could be on stage with them at each of the three venues they were playing.  Being sort of out of the Eurovision bubble this year was the factor in their enjoying the whole day at the Party without having all the associated stress - almost like being a fan!  I am also looking forward to seeing footage from the concert in North Macedonia that Eye Cue are hosting after Tel Aviv - busy times for them both!

So that was all seven of the interviews from this year's London Eurovision Party - all of them were played on the same show, this Tuesday just gone:

I will put together a piece on the evening itself at some point but I'd like to have access to more videos from the night before doing so, otherwise it will just be a load of my pictures!  Until then, here is my VIP picture with Nicki French, Miki and Michael Rice:
Enjoy the run up to Tel Aviv and my next three shows, where you will hear all the acts associated with each SF and who I think will make it through, culminating with my last show before Tel Aviv where I will play my number 41 up to my favourite this year!  As for the London Eurovision Party press event, I couldn't have asked for a better selection of artists to chat with - my interviews were 7 minutes minimum, 14 minutes tops and really informative all round.  I hope that you enjoyed listening to them and that you appreciated the depth of questions in each on a range of topics (two of the acts actually complimented me on my background research on them, which was very pleasing).  This is something that I have to do as I have no visuals to back up the interview's words, so I hope that the old adage that I work to holds true for my blog and radio show...

Quality over Quantity!
