[LMBTO] "Let Me Be The One" Eurovision Show 41 - Post Tel Aviv...

Another star gets the "Google Pixel 2 collage" treatment - Kobi Marimi got the biggest applause and cheers of any Eurovision artist in Tel Aviv (as you'd expect with a decent number of locals in the audience of every show) and even got a massive cheer when the 'Belarus Jury' awarded Israel their only jury 12 of the night.  Oh dear, now taken away and zero jury points...
I'll talk more about the "Upside Down Points" saga during the next show - show 41 is about my highlights of the six live shows and also has an interview by ESC Fan TV (that I was helping out in Tel Aviv) with Slavko Kalezić, Montenegrin representative in Kyiv.  We all know him for much more than that - Stuart Wilders did the honours.  Madonna, Netta and a certain 'Funny Girl' make an appearance this week too...

From the old champion to the new - what do you mean, where were they?  Here is the playlist:

"Toy" - Netta
"Arcade" - Duncan Laurence
"Too Late For Love" - John Lundvik
"Proud" - Tamara Todevska
"Spirit In The Sky" - KEiiNO
"Soldi" - Mahmood
"Say Na Na Na" - Serhat
"She Got Me" - Luca Hänni
"Zero Gravity" - Kate Miller-Heidke
"Bigger Than Us" - Michael Rice
"Sister" - S!sters
"Fire Of Love (Pali się)" - Tulia
"Run With The Lions" - Jurijus
"Like A Prayer" - Madonna
"Future" - Madonna ft. Quavo
"Hatrið mun sigra" - Hatari
"Home" - Kobi Marimi
"The Door Will Be Open" - Shalva Band
"Better Love" - Katerine Duska
"Nana Banana" - Netta
"Space" - Slavko Kalezić
"Interview" - Slavko Kalezić
"Moonlit Night" - Slavko Kalezić
"Funny Girl" - Laura Rizzotto

Bear in mind that this was broadcast on Tuesday at 1-3pm BST, before the news about the wrong points being awarded - Sweden, Norway, North Macedonia and even San Marino all have position changes and if the latest news is correct about another jury matter, Poland might even have missed out on a Final place by mistake.  I will relate anything I know next week in show 42.
I will be catching up with articles about my time in Tel Aviv plus some reviews of how I saw this year's Contest shape up but I have to say one thing now...

CONGRATULATIONS to The Netherlands on their 5th win and their first for 44 years!

"Arcade" is a beautiful song, Duncan Laurence a magnificent singer and seeing that the first ESC I watched as a child was that won by Teach-In in 1975, I think that it is a sign that I should be there.  I would also appreciate history repeating itself as it would mean that the UK will win next year!
So that was Eurovision 2019 - I will be tidying up loose ends next week and attempting to keep you all interested in Eurovision throughout the close season.  Just remember one thing...

Only 100 days until September 1st and the start of the 2020 season!

The Eurovision process never stops...
