Yes, that is me during my moment of Press glory (screenshot by Ness ESCFan), asking a question of John Lundvik at the SF2 Qualifiers Press Conference and possibly getting one of the shortest answers ever!  You'll hear the audio of that in the first hour of show 42, along with five other interviews from ESC Fan TV and Radio International.  Most of the show is related to 2019 and the aftermath of Tel Aviv, together with some news that has already cropped up about The Netherlands 2020.  The winners of the Marcel Bezençon awards are also included, along with Barbara Dex and the 2019 winner of that particular award.  Lots to listen to this week - here is the show:

And the playlist?  You probably recognise most of these now...

"Like It" - ZENA
"Proud" - Tamara Todevska
"Bigger Than Us" - Michael Rice
"Runaway" - Sahlene
Anna Sahlene Orange Carpet Interview by JP (Radio International)
"Sto Theo Me Paei" - Eleni Foureira
"The Dream" - Roko
Roko Orange Carpet Interview by Stuart Wilders (ESC Fan TV)
"Limits (Darude remix)" - PAENDA
PAENDA Orange Carpet Interview by Stuart Wilders (ESC Fan TV)
"Too Late For Love" - John Lundvik
John Lundvik Orange Carpet Interview - Stuart Wilders (ESC Fan TV)
John Lundvik SF2 Qualifiers Press Conference Interview - Martin Palmer (ESC Fan TV & Let Me Be The One)
"Facebook uh oh oh" - Valentina Monetta
Serhat Orange Carpet Interview - Stuart Wilders (ESC Fan TV)
"Run With The Lions" - Jurijus
"Stay" - Anna Odobescu
"iemand als jij" - Barbara Dex
"Telemóveis" - Conan Osíris
"Arcade" - Duncan Laurence
"Zero Gravity (Acoustic)" - Kate Miller-Heidke
"Soldi" - Mahmood
"Amsterdam" - Maggie MacNeal
"You and I" - Asmik Shiroyan
"Tell Me Who You Are" - Malene Mortensen
"Set Me Free" - Leea Nanos
"Wicked Game" - INGA ft. Around The Sun
"Let Me Be The One" - The Shadows

Some highlights there include the acoustic version of "Zero Gravity" that shows off Kate's non-opera side perfectly, the PAENDA/Darude collaboration that I am certain would have seen whichever of Austria or Finland through to the Final and the Eesti Laul link-up between INGA and Around The Sun with Chris Isaaks'"Wicked Game".  I am certain that we will be hearing of more nations declaring for 2020 and I will possibly use the next few weeks to catch up with those nations that had already stated their attendance before Tel Aviv.
Show 43 may include a fair number of tracks that 'almost' made it onto earlier shows - those that were near the end of the show but I ran out of time for and then didn't fit into another one.  Until now that is!  One track I am desperate to play is this one that a certain Estonian singer released two days after Israel won in Lisbon:

Amazing, huh?  I already had it down as one of my moments of 2018 in my blog and it was always going to get some airplay here.  Do you know what?  It is opening next week's show, no matter what happens...

The beautiful and multi-talented
Birgit will kick off show 43!
