That is the wonderful Anna Bergendahl at this year's London Eurovision Party singing for her fans as the special guest of OGAE UK - she has had such an amazing year at MF and other events such as the LEP that she is now becoming a regular Eurovison event guest. She opened this week's show with her new song "Home" and will be the special guest at the next EuroFest at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern on August 9th - I'll be there to see her perform again. Why the focus on her and that event in particular? It is all to do with this week's theme of 'Summer Events' - not only that one but also UNESCON this weekend in Hanover and J'aime La Vlie 2019 the weekend afterwards. Having a huge selection of artists at both events does fill up the two hours quite nicely - have a listen:

It may be the supposed 'quiet season' but there is still enough going on in the world of Eurovision if you look hard enough! Here's the banner for J'aime La Vlie:Show 47 will continue the Summer Event theme - Allsång på Skansen 2019 is on every week for the next seven weeks (catch episode 1 on SVT Play) and OGAE Malta has an event in mid July. I'll have to see if I can chat with anybody about these events, even though I won't be able to make them personally. Whatever playlist I come up with, there is one overriding truth - for anyone who thought that once May was over that there wouldn't be anything for Eurovision fans to do, these shows show you one thing:
