Two of the artists that helped make 2013 such a special Contest for me - my favourite one in fact and that is why the second hour of this week's show was dedicated to it! Not only does it have a superb selection of songs of different genres and artistic vocals, it also had some of the most OTT staging ever, an incredible host plus it was the trigger for this blog being written and everything else that has come afterwards. Lots of news songs that I hadn't played to date on the show as well - I really enjoyed putting it all together, especially the 2013 hour...

It was great to be able to announce on the show their selection as it was happening in Belgium - imagine if "Let Me Be The One" got so big, that actually happened live on this show? Only in my dreams! I will be writing a stand-alone article about the Belgian selection in the next day or so but suffice it to say, there will be two of their hits on next weeks show! What else will be there? There will be the new track from Saara Aalto, a great cover by Eye Cue, the second song in my new segment "Did I Really Just Hear That?" and a tribute to possibly the biggest male singer in the Czech Republic, Karel Gott, who passed away this week. I hope you can join me on the last show before I go off to Leeds and Eurobash...
