17 year olds often have confidence beyond their years and that is the case with Michela from Malta, pictured here on the Orange Carpet on Sunday chatting to the Australian section of the press.  She is a delight to chat with and she was one of this week's songs on my show, a very different one to normal, mainly because it wasn't aired live from the Bradley Stoke Radio studio or even pre-recorded!  The first hour of this week's show was made up of recorded clips on my Zoom H1n voice recorder, with mp3 songs inbetween.  Hopefully it doesn't sound too different to normal:

The playlist?  Here you go - remember I had only two days material to work with...

"Toy" - Netta
"Zero Gravity" - Kate Miller-Heidke
"Spirit In The Sky" - KEiiNO
"Bigger Than Us" - Michael Rice
"The Dream" - Roko
"Chameleon" - Michela
"Run With The Lions" - Jurijus
"Scream" - Sergey Lazarev
"Ktheju Tokës" - Jonida Maliqi
"Arcade" - Duncan Laurence
"Proud" - Tamara Todevska
"Lo Malo" - Aitana & Ana Guerra
"Have You Now" - Whogaux & Karl-Kristian ft Maian
"Cool Me Down" - Margaret
"You Got Me" - Stella Mwangi & Alexandra Rotan
"Fångad av en stormvind" - Carola
"Grab The Moment" - JOWST
"If Love Was A Crime" - Poli Genova
"Not My Soul" - Destiny Chukunyere
"La La Love" - Ivi Adamou
"Playing With Fire" - Paul Seling & Ovi
"Solayoh" - Alyona Lanskaya
"Visionary Dream" - Sopho
"Say Yay!" - Barei
"Cliche Love Song" - Basim
"Friday Night Club Escape" - Michi
"High Heels In The Neighbourhood" - The Swingers

The second hour of the show was a selection of uptempo party songs that I had played in the previous 39 shows - I will have more information about what I was doing here in Tel Aviv next week in show 41 when I return to the UK.  I will even have an interview with this man who was in the Press Centre:
The one, the only Slavko Kalezić from Montenegro who performed in 2017 and has a new single out - I will play his Eurovision track plus the new material too.  The other definite song that I will play is the 2019 Eurovision winner - something that currently as I type this we do not know, although the possible list is now just 26 in length.  I'm not saying who my money is on but you could probably guess...
That is the look of three performers experiencing the calm before the storm - will their next two performances that matter secure Australia's first win?

As Australia is my adoptive nation for this season,
FINGERS CROSSED!
