And so we have the final four Australian artists to make up the ten for "Eurovision : Australia Decides" - unfortunately one of them doesn't have a commercial release to play on Let Me Be The One but it will come!  From top right clockwise, we have:

Diana Rouvas
Jack Vidgen
Jaguar Jonze
Jordan-Ravi

Just the guy with the guitar to go and then we have the full set.  Perhaps I should get in touch with Tania Doko again, seeing she is one of the writers of his song "Pushing Stars", to see if there is anything she has to offer for Jordan!  Of course there are not only Aussies on this week's show, although Jack does take pride of place on the Mixcloud cover:

It was a real pleasure to be able to play his song "I am King I am Queen" on this week's show, given that it is the first confirmed song for the Australian NF.  What else did you hear on the show?  A mix of Albanian, Swedish and Estonian in the main...

"All We Need Is That Love" - Vincent Bueno
"Wait For No One" (F9 remix) - Diana Rouvas
"I am King I am Queen" - Jack Vidgen
"Kill Me With Your Love" - Jaguar Jonze
"Lonely Symphony (We Will Be Free)" - Frances Ruffelle
"Never Let You Go" - Dima Bilan
"Proud" - Tamara Todevska
"Make It Rain Champagne" - Verka Serduchka
"La Venda" - Miki
"I din himmel" - Sonja Aldén
"E det fel på mej?" - Linda Bengtzing
"Mina bränder" - Zeana ft. Anis Don Demina
"Nästa jul" - Jakob Karlberg
"Me Tana" - Elvana Gjata
"Ajër" - Sara Bajraktari
"Ankth" - KANITA
"Më ngjyros" - Kamela Islamaj
"Shaj" - Arilena Ara
"Shehu Kutia e Pandorës" - Valon
"Videomäng" - Renate
"Georgia (On My Mind)" - Egert Milder
"Lean On Me" - Ziggy Wild
"Heart Winder" - German & Violina

We started the show with the one definite known over the past week, that being who is going to Rotterdam for Austria:
Now a trick like that on the Eurovision stage will get Vincent Bueno noticed, no problem!  He tried to get to the Contest in 2016, the year that the delightful ZOË took the Austrian ticket with "Loin d'ici" but has at least sung as backing to a lot of dry ice, a crescent moon and of course Nathan Trent:
Vincent's song "Alive" will be revealed in due course.  The other main item that needed covering this week, as the event will be all over by the time my next show airs on Christmas Eve, is Festivali i Këngës 58, or FiK as we all lovingly know the Albanian'National Final':
Six out of those artists were played on the show today - the fan favourite Elvana and my top five...
Valon
Arilena Ara
Kamela Islamaj
KANITA
Sara Bajraktari

Either have a listen to them all on the RTSH YouTube channel or actually tune into the three shows (two SFs and Final) - if you like Sanremo, you will really appreciate FiK.  What with that and playing more from MF past and Eesti Laul present, there was only one new release on the show and even that related to one of the news stories:
"Make It Rain Champagne" is a great track for the radio by Verka Serduchka and I am sure you will hear it played on every single Eurovision radio station out there!  So that was it for show 71 - it is going to be obvious what the theme of at least part of show 72 is going to be, given that it is being aired on Xmas Eve!  There will be some Christmas songs sung by Eurovision artists but also some songs that SOUND Christmassy hopefully, although that is more of a challenge given that the Contest has always been broadcast between late March and late May!  I gave you a suggestion last time with Charlotte Nielsen's "Take Me To Your Heaven" - here is another:

You come up with more suggestions and you will get a thank you on the show!  See you next week so we can see another Eurovision Christmas in together...
