One of those National Finals where there was too much choice...
Tanxugueiras are one of the unlucky ones
who did not make it to Eurovision via Spain!
Not much time before the London and Amsterdam pre-parties that I am going to over the next couple of weeks, so effectively completing a playlist of Special Guests for Amsterdam and Madrid was the order of the day for this week's show. Those at Eurovision In Concert are all Dutch (understandably so), whereas the first names on the Amsterdam Calling bill include the host Krista Siegfrids and one of my favourites from this year, Anna Sahlene. More to come but the chances are that anyone else for Amsterdam Calling will not appear on the show, given that the following four shows will be:
London Eurovision Party Interviews
Eurovision In Concert Interviews
LET ME BE THE ONE Eurovision 2022 Chart rundown 40-21

And just one last bit of admin before we launch into April and those promos - the SF running order. So much could be said about why 'such and such' is there etc but I never get into that debate - fate is a great leveller and it all come down to those performances on the night(s). Being first half or second half really makes little difference in the big scheme of things in the SFs - the Final, well that's another matter but we have to wait until 13/14th May...
Onto next week's show 191 and I will be at the above venue at the LONDON EUROVISION PARTY press event. I have decided not to attend the show itself, mainly due to cost and time availability, given that I will be in Amsterdam the weekend afterwards. I hope to get lots of interviews for broadcast, some pictures to go alongside (courtesy of my wonderful colleague Joanne Powell) and you will be able to hear all that on next week's show. Of those attending, I am keen to chat with this lady perhaps more so than anyone else...
Fingers crossed that Mia makes it
And our paths cross!
