my moment of the 2022 season happened...
When was yours?
Eurovision Song CZ 2022 played itself out on 16th December and that is when we found out that We Are Domi were going to be the Czech artists for Turin. My moment of the season was nine days earlier when I first saw GIUDI's live performance video of "Jezinky" - what I saw was an incredible piece of performance art with GIUDI's ethereal voice giving me real chills. "Jezinky" was by far the best entry of the Czech seven in my opinion and would have led that nation on a totally different path to what we got from Dominika, Ben and Casper. A Final Qualifier? It would have stood out a mile with it either grabbing all the points or none at all but perhaps competitively We Are Domi were the right choice. Now GIUDI kicked off the show as my personal moment of 2022 - we then moved onto the choices of everyone else during this special celebration...
SHOW 200!
Tuesday 7th August 2018 was when the first show was broadcast - one hour of heavily scripted chat together with an introduction to Eurovision music for the radio station on a regular basis (before that, a couple of shows by Classical Chas before each Contest was all there was on offer).
