Given that we now know that we in the UK will have the opportunity to host Eurovision 2023 with a big dose on involvement from Ukraine, I have decided that any time that I chat about developments with the hosting process, you will hear not only a UK entry but also something from Ukraine too. As she has just announced a North American tour to raise money for charities in her nation, Tina Karol's "Show Me Your Love" was the obvious choice to start that co-operation - she was second up on this week's show:

That is an interesting version - music much the same but the lyrics are so different! I am glad that the revamp happened and we got that iconic performance with Tina, her skipping Cossacks and of course those funky boots! We have had EIGHTEEN Ukrainian Eurovision entries (including 'Solovey'), so you will get to hear them a few times during the Eurovision 2023 season here on LET ME BE THE ONE.

So we just have the generic Eurovision logo to play with at the moment, with a promised special edition to come - we will have a couple of months where every city in the UK with an arena of 10k+ capacity (plus some that haven't) will decide if they want to bring the Eurovision experience to their locale. Bristol are still insisting they are a competitive bid - I would believe that more if this was next year and the YTL Arena Bristol was due to be completed in time for Eurovision 2024. The UK entry to tie in with the official announcement?
